What started as a one-night experiment in 2023 has grown into one of the most beloved events in south central Kentucky. The Hometown Showdown Lip Sync Battle brings together teams from local businesses, schools, healthcare organizations, and community groups for high-energy head-to-head competitions on the stage of the historic Plaza Theatre in Glasgow — with the live audience deciding who takes home the trophy.

The event has raised over $155,000 across its first three years, with proceeds supporting the vital programs of the T.J. Community Mission Foundation. Part IV returns in November 2026 with all the energy, friendly rivalry, and community spirit that has made it a sell-out tradition.
