Children’s Day Celebration

Since 2012, Children's Day has worked to ensure that children in south central Kentucky have access to what they need to thrive — not just in the classroom, but at home. Now a program of the T.J. Community Mission Foundation, Children's Day partners with Family Resource and Youth Service Centers (FRYSCs) in the Barren County, Glasgow Independent, and Caverna Independent school systems, providing essentials like food, clothing, school supplies, and mattresses directly to children and families in need.

Each year near World Children's Day on November 20, the Children's Day Celebration brings the community together to fund this work — honoring the children of our region and the people who champion their well-being every day. The celebration is the heart of the fundraising effort that makes the year-round program possible.
